Inspired by the Ikon, the MAXXIS Rekon tyre 27.5x2.60 Exo 3C MaxxTerra Tubeless Ready folding bead is, like it, designed for competition Cross-Country, but it is designed for highly technical terrain requiring more grip and control. Its knobs are taller, larger and fewer than those of the Ikon.
Equipped with a supple 120 tpi casing, this version features the triple MaxxTerra rubber compound offering an excellent compromise, with better traction and more grip than MaxxSpeed, and superior rolling efficiency compared to MaxxGrip.
In this Tubeless Ready version, which can be fitted with or without an inner tube, this tyre also features Exo sidewall reinforcement, providing additional protection against abrasion and tears.
