Dedicated to aggressive riders, the MAXXIS Minion DHR II 27.5x2.40 WT DD 2-Ply Butyl 3C Tubeless Ready tyre with folding bead is designed forEnduro/Freeride in competition on dry to loose terrain. In this Wide Trail (WT) version, it is optimised for rims 30 to 35 mm wide.
Completely redesigned, it offers even further improved performance whether in acceleration, cornering or braking. The wide side knobs make it easier to initiate cornering, while the denser grooved central tread guarantees excellent control.
This top-of-the-range version is designed for the most demanding competitors, with a double-ply casing reinforced by a butyl insert guaranteeing maximum robustness and puncture resistance worthy of a DH tyre, but at a significantly lower weight.

Good tire, not indestructible, but very versatile
"I was looking for a tire that was tough yet relatively easy to ride. Just a pinch puncture on one sidewall, and I wanted to test it in the rocks. A fuse and it's off again. Very good grip on mixed terrain, but doesn't weigh the bike down too much. The 40/50 km are doable without dragging yourself too much."
