Featuring a 120 tpi casing and a MaxxSpeed triple compound rubber blend providing low rolling resistance and excellent traction, the MAXXIS Ikon tyre will delight riders looking for an ultralight, high-performance model in all conditions.
In this Tubeless Ready version that can be fitted with or without an inner tube, this tyre also features Exo reinforcement on the sidewalls providing increased protection against abrasion and tears.

"Front-mounted, it's a real party animal, as it has undeniable directional qualities. It's best used on dry terrain only: I rode it on dirt the day after it rained, and it really wasn't its cup of tea. Good ball with good grip in curves. On the other hand, with its 120 TPI casing, the tire doesn't deform very much, so expect to use lower pressures when riding. Good fitment on the rim for tubeless."
