Description

The MAXXIS High Roller II 29x2.30 Exo Tubeless Ready 3C folding bead tyre is designed for Enduro/Trail riding on technical dry to slightly soft terrain. Derived from the famous High Roller, the knob design has been modified for excellent mud clearance and optimised grip on hard terrain both under braking and acceleration.

In this version, the MAXXIS High Roller II features the triple compound MaxxTerra rubber blend offering an excellent compromise with better traction and more grip than MaxxSpeed, and superior rolling efficiency to MaxxGrip.

Compatible with or without an inner tube thanks to Tubeless Ready technology, this tyre also features Exo reinforcement on the sidewalls providing increased protection against abrasion and tears.

Very good for the front

"Front mount on Specialized Camber for trail (50km outings and d+1600m approx.) 1.3 bar for 75kg fully equipped. No problems with performance. Good grip in corners and under braking, wet or dry. No stalling. Tubeless mounting very easy by hand and the tire clicks at the workshop pump."

My favorite front-mount tire.

"The High Roller II needs no introduction. Good grip, good durability, solidity and grip. A reassuring tire for me, who's not a first-rate rider. It's very forgiving and behaves wonderfully on all types of terrain. I ride XC, Trail and a little All Mountain, and I dare to mount it on the front because I don't chase lap times and I was looking for a safe, solid tire; so to hell with weight savings. I'm on my second one. I'll buy the same one when it wears out (which will be a long time from now). Mountain bike: Orbea OIZ Trail H10."

No unpleasant surprises

"Very good all mountain tire, excellent grip on wet rock".

Good winter tires

"Very good tire. Good grip even in the wet. Good performance and reasonable weight for a durable tire (in exo). It evacuates mud well."

Komrider (4/5)

Always the best

"Super tire good everywhere and Probikeshop always fast!!!! Go ride"

Rideur68 (4/5)

Top but wrong weight

"Super tire known for years. Very strong grip at the front when cornering and braking. For once, I checked the weight: 100g more than advertised."

Misterpouet (4/5)

Good grip

"Fit as a replacement for the original XC-type front tire. Very good grip and cornering. After only three outings, I've noticed a difference in the way my mountain bike handles, a versatile tire."

A real front tire :-) for a 29p in AM/EN

"I used to have a tire (rubena scylla), but that was before. Now I've got a tire that holds up in the stones of the Rhône-Alpes region, and it's a guy who doesn't count shovels who says so. I'm going to put the same one on the rear when the ground gets softer and I can finish fitting the rubena. I didn't feel any difference when riding my Niner RIP after 200 km on different types of terrain. bon ride à tous".

an excellent front tire

"I installed it on my tallboy at the front, it offers great grip in the corners, the weight is reasonable and the tire is quite resistant."
