Designed for aggressive XC riding and All Mountain, the MAXXIS Forekaster 27.5x2.40 Exo 3C MaxxTerra Tubeless Ready tyre will prove particularly effective on muddy and wet terrain.

Its tread pattern combines pronounced side knobs for excellent grip and ultra-efficient braking, and medium-height knobs widely spaced on the tread to promote optimal mud clearance.

Perfect for racing, the Forekaster is built around a supple 120 tpi casing, with a 3C MaxxSpeed triple rubber compound, which also offers an excellent compromise with better traction and more grip than MaxxSpeed and superior rolling efficiency compared to MaxxGrip. Three types of rubber are thus combined: a hard underlayer and two softer rubbers on the surface, particularly on the sides, to better ensure the grip of the side knobs.

In this Tubeless Ready version that can be fitted with or without an inner tube, the MAXXIS Forekaster tyre also features the Exo reinforcement on the sidewalls providing increased protection against abrasion and cuts.
