Dedicated to aggressive riders, the MAXXIS Minion DHR II 29x2.50 WT 3C MaxxGrip Double Down Tubeless Ready folding bead tyre is designed for Enduro/Freeride competition on dry to loose terrain.

Completely redesigned, it delivers even further improved performance in acceleration, cornering and braking. The wide lateral lugs make it easier to initiate corners, while the denser grooved centre tread guarantees outstanding control. The 3C MaxxGrip compound from Maxxis offers the stickiest and slowest-rebound rubber for mountain bikes. Used in DH and Enduro World Cup racing, it is available with several casings to suit all riders.

DoubleDown (DD) is a casing designed for enduro and e-MTBs. It combines two layers of lightweight 120 TPI material with a butyl insert on the sidewalls, offering excellent durability and better terrain feel than a Downhill casing. Slightly lighter than a DH tyre, the DoubleDown stands out primarily for its livelier feel, although some riders prefer the superior cushioning of a DH casing.

Ideal at the rear, it can be paired with the DHF at the front for incredible efficiency.
