Developed and tested in collaboration with Greg Minnaar, the MAXXIS Assegai tyre takes its name from a spear of the Zulu people of South Africa. It is therefore the perfect weapon to take on the mountains.
It features tall knobs providing great traction and good support on dry and wet, rooty or rocky terrain. The soft 3C Maxx Grip compound is ideal for extreme conditions for maximum grip and minimum rebound.
In this Tubeless Ready version, which can be mounted with or without an inner tube, this tyre is also equipped with a DH reinforced casing to withstand the most demanding descents.
