Description

Developed and tested in collaboration with Greg Minnaar, the MAXXIS Assegai 27.5x2.50 WT Exo+ 3C tyre MaxxTerra takes its name from a spear used by the Zulu people of South Africa. It is therefore the perfect weapon to conquer the mountains.

It features tall knobs ensuring great traction and good support on dry and wet, rooty or rocky terrain. The 3C Maxx Terra compound is ideal for extreme conditions and maximum grip. Robust, it offers less rolling resistance than the MaxxGrip version.

In this version Tubeless Ready which can be fitted with or without an inner tube, this tyre also features an Exo+ casing offering great resistance to punctures. Durable and lightweight, it sits between the Exo and Double Down.

Excellent tire

"A very good tire for almost all conditions. Very good grip on corners. I would have liked to buy a French tire, too bad there's nothing comparable. Neither from H. ... nor from M. ... too bad. What is the R& D of these brands doing?"

Tested vae safe on rocky, damp ground.

"A very good tire for the front, not try for the rear!"
