This model features tubeless technology to enjoy traction, control and puncture resistance. The rim has a hookless internal width of 25 mm, well suited to low-volume tyres. It is designed to deliver instant acceleration and responsiveness thanks to the Instant Drive 360 freehub. In addition, the 24 straight spokes promote lightness while keeping the wheel solid in use.

Mavic quality at an affordable price
"Replacing a Shimano wheel with a poorly machined hub, this Mavic model offers excellent value for money. It’s lighter, has a good freewheel system, and looks better. Fitting a Maxxis Ikon 29x2.20 as a tubeless tire was very easy, saving 300 grams in the process. We’ll see how it holds up over time, but I’m not worried, since I already have two similar setups on the other mountain bikes at home (2020 Crossmax in 27.5 and 2021 Crossmax SL in 29)."
