Description
The LEZYNE Hand Pump Grip Drive HV is a hand pump optimised for wide-section tyres (MTB, Gravel, Fat Bike). Unlike road pumps that prioritise pressure, this High Volume model moves more air with each stroke, allowing you to re-inflate your off-road tyres much more quickly after a puncture.
Its distinctive feature lies in its textured (knurled) body, which offers an exceptional grip, even with gloves or in muddy conditions. Like all premium Lezyne pumps, it integrates the ABS Flex Hose, which protects your valves from mechanical damage during pumping.
Why choose the HV version over the HP? The HV (High Volume) version is made for large, low-pressure tyres (MTB). It inflates faster but becomes difficult to operate beyond 3–4 bar. The HP (High Pressure) version is intended for narrow road tyres that require high pressures.
Is it compatible with tubeless valve cores? Yes. The hose screws onto the valve, ensuring a complete seal, which is crucial for tubeless. The ABS head even integrates a valve core removal tool.
How do you switch from Presta to Schrader? It's very simple: just unscrew the end of the hose, flip it over and screw it back on. Both sides are clearly marked.
