Can I use seawater with this suction hose? No. The use of salt water is strongly discouraged, as salt is extremely corrosive to the internal pump and seals of your cleaner. Always use fresh water (rainwater, clear river water, tap water, etc.).

How do I ensure the pump primes correctly when drawing water? On first use, submerge the hose completely in the water to expel any air inside before starting the device. This greatly eases the pump's work and allows you to immediately obtain a steady stream of water at the spray handle.
