What is the difference in operating time compared to the 2.5 Ah battery? The 5.0 Ah battery stores twice as much energy as a 2.5 Ah battery. This means you double the battery life of your device. For example, on a KHB or OC 6-18 range portable medium-pressure cleaner, the battery life increases from approximately 12 minutes (with the 2.5 Ah) to nearly 24 minutes of continuous use with this 5.0 Ah version.

Is this battery compatible with Kärcher devices in the 36 V range? No. Kärcher platform batteries are divided into two distinct voltage categories (18 V and 36 V). An 18 V battery will not fit and cannot power a device designed for the 36 V platform (and vice versa).

How should I store my battery if I am not using it for several months (during winter)? To preserve the chemistry of the lithium-ion cells, store the battery in a dry, temperate location (ideally between 10 and 20 °C) and away from frost. Kärcher incorporates an intelligent automatic storage mode: if the battery is not used for more than 21 days, it automatically discharges to an optimal level (approximately 70%) to prevent premature ageing of the cells.
