The Kärcher Battery Power 18/25 Starter Kit brings together everything you need to power and quickly recharge your cordless tools from the Kärcher 18 V platform. This pack includes a lightweight and compact lithium-ion battery of 18 V / 2.5 Ah along with its dedicated fast charger.

Thanks to the patented Real Time Technology, the battery features an integrated LCD screen that displays with ultra-precise accuracy and in real time the remaining battery life (in minutes of use), the time needed to complete charging (in minutes) and the overall remaining capacity as a percentage. Designed to withstand shocks and protected against water splashes (IPX5 rating), it provides stable and secure power to your Kärcher portable cleaners, blower vacuums or gardening tools.

What is the difference in battery life between this 2.5 Ah version and the 5.0 Ah version? The 2.5 Ah battery is more compact and lighter than the 5.0 Ah version, making it ideal for tools held at arm's length. In terms of battery life, it offers for example approximately 12 minutes of continuous use on a portable medium-pressure cleaner (KHB or OC 6-18), compared to 24 minutes for the 5.0 Ah model.

Is this fast charger compatible with the 5.0 Ah battery? Absolutely. The fast charger included in this kit is part of the Kärcher Battery Power 18 V platform. It can recharge any Kärcher 18 V battery (whether the 2.5 Ah version or the 5.0 Ah version).

How should the battery be stored during the winter season? Kärcher features a very practical automatic storage mode. If the battery remains unused for more than 21 days, its cells discharge themselves to an optimal level of 70% to prevent premature wear. Simply store it in a temperate location (ideally between 10 and 20 °C) and away from moisture.
