The Kärcher car adaptor (reference 2.643-876.0) is the ideal accessory for extending your cleaning sessions while on the move. Designed specifically for the Kärcher OC 3 range of mobile low-pressure cleaners, this 2-metre power cable plugs directly into your car, motorhome or van's cigarette lighter socket (12 V).
It allows you to run your OC 3 device directly from your vehicle's electrical supply, even when the internal battery of your cleaner is completely flat. This is the perfect solution for long camping weekends, full days of cycling outings or road trips where access to a standard mains socket is impossible.
Does this adaptor charge the OC 3's internal battery while driving? No. This car adaptor is designed exclusively to power and run the device directly while you are using it. It does not recharge the OC 3's internal battery. To fully recharge the battery, you must use the mains charger originally supplied with your device.
Can it be used on a 24 V truck socket? No. This adaptor is calibrated specifically for a voltage of 12 V. Using it on a 24 V socket (common on large trucks or certain heavy motorhomes) could irreparably damage the adaptor or the electronic circuits of your OC 3.
Does using the adaptor risk draining my car battery? The OC 3 cleaner consumes very little energy compared to other electrical car accessories. However, as a precaution and to avoid unnecessarily straining your vehicle's battery (especially if it is old), it is recommended to leave your car engine running while using the cleaner.
