At home on mixed to loose terrain, the HUTCHINSON Toro 29x2.10 Hardskin RaceRipost XC folding bead tyre is designed for competitive Cross-Country riding.
The more open lateral knobs ensure ultra-high-performance grip, while the low-profile knobs placed on the tread optimise rolling efficiency and facilitate mud clearance. The sharp, abrupt edges provide excellent traction. The structural compound reinforcing the knobs also withstands the most powerful braking forces.
Combined with the new RaceRipost XC triple compound and the Hardskin high-resistance nylon textile mesh reinforcement placed under the tread and on the sidewalls to prevent cuts from sharp stones, this model delivers excellent performance in terms of both rolling efficiency and longevity.
Ideal for rear mounting, the Toro 2.10 pairs with a 2.25 at the front for optimal performance.

"A product that meets my expectations"
"Easy to install and performs well on all terrains. I’ve been using it for years, mounted on the rear wheel (2.10" width) to reduce traction given my weight (Hutchinson Toro on the front wheel at 2.35"). It’s never blown out because it’s a hardskin tire."
"An excellent tire for winter conditions, with good puncture resistance. I recommend it."
"Excellent all-purpose tires that perform very well in mud. Lightweight with good resistance to damage. They wear out quickly, but that’s to be expected given their excellent traction in all conditions."
"Paired with a 2.25-inch tire up front—perfect for this wet winter! Still, it's just as hard to get tubeless tires to seat."
"Easy to install, waterproof with just 60 ml of sealant (which isn't common with Hutchison tires), good grip but naturally less smooth-rolling than a Python or Tapai."
"Works well on muddy terrain. The tread wears down pretty quickly."
"Excellent traction up front in both summer and winter. At the rear for winter."
"The perfect tire for mud and wet conditions in the fall and winter. However, it doesn't roll well on asphalt. I put a 2.25 on the front and a 2.10 on the rear. No problem with tubeless installation; it holds pressure well."
"Great catch, but watch out for the rocks he's throwing at your calves"
