The HUTCHINSON Taipan 29x2.35 Hardskin RaceRipost XC Tubeless Ready folding bead tyre is a model that prioritises efficiency, lightweight and grip. Equally at home on mixed, rocky or wet terrain, it ensures good lateral mud clearance thanks to its V-shaped tread blocks whilst providing excellent lateral grip.
Versatile, this HUTCHINSON Taipan tyre also benefits from the Hardskin high-resistance nylon textile mesh reinforcement placed under the tread and on the sidewalls to prevent cuts from sharp stones and further increase puncture resistance.
Combined with the new RaceRipost XC triple compound, this model delivers excellent performance in terms of both efficiency and longevity.
Can be used with or without an inner tube, it is ideal on the rear wheel for performance and speed-oriented Enduro riding.

"Rear tire paired with a Toro on the front. Used for downhill enduro and uphill trail riding, on a 30 km ride with 1,200 meters of elevation gain. The rear tire rolls well given its tread pattern and offers good traction on climbs, whether on mud, a carpet of leaves, or roots. On descents, no loss of traction to report, whether in turns or on slippery technical sections. Fitted tubeless on a 25mm-wide rim; no flats in two months in the Vosges."
