"The repair fluid limits the leakage from the puncture and, with a bit of luck, gets you home. But that's where it stops: the wheel is still flat the next day. The butyl in the product is not easily repaired: it's better to start again with a new chamber and ride with peace of mind. ."

On the other hand, it deflates very slightly, like a tube, minus 0.5bars in 3 weeks, even though the bike hasn't been ridden since... a bit worrying. A normal inner tube doesn't lose air as quickly, and a rival puncture-proof tube from Bibendum that I've had for nearly 2 years has hardly deflated at all in the same time. In short, it remains to be seen. In any case, for the competitor, no puncture to be deplored. On the other hand, when deflating, to change a tire for example, some product escapes and causes the valve to leak... . The solution is to re-inflate violently with a foot pump to "clean" the valve before the product dries."
