Description

The HUTCHINSON Griffus tyre is entirely dedicated to demanding disciplines, and will perform at its best on dry, rocky terrain.

The French brand has chosen the Race Ripost Gravity tri-compound, delivering both precise handling and braking control thanks to a directional tread pattern and aggressive side knobs. The 2x66 TPI casing provides ultimate protection against hard impacts and punctures.

Hutchinson's enduro riders, who developed this tyre according to their own needs, recommend fitting a 2.50 at the front paired with a 2.40 at the rear, ensuring cornering stability and pedalling efficiency. DH riders, meanwhile, will be fully satisfied by the aggression delivered by a 2.50 front and rear setup. Compatible with inner tubes, this big-volume tyre will exploit its full potential when mounted Tubeless and slightly under-inflated.

Very good! ... ... for me!

"On a Giant 1.5 full, I took the Griffus option, in 2.6 low pressure 1.2 bar, on the front to get the promised big grip, the grip is there, on the gravel descents, big round pebbles, and fixed rocky steps, playground: the garrigue in the back country of Sanary. Where I was supposed to place my wheel, now I pull straight out, this tire gives an impression of safety that you should perhaps be wary of... . . and an impression of greater dynamics too, in the meantime, it's all fun. I also bought a digital pump, and put a Schwalbe Eddy 2.8 tubless at the rear, pressure 1.3 bar, also remarkable, more suitable for the rear of a vttae. All ordered from probikeshop and received promptly, with no problems whatsoever."

Healthy behavior

"Great at the rear for good grip when going downhill and good performance. Braking performance is honest. Tested in bike park and enduro. On the other hand their demanded nothing in the fat."
