Description

The HUTCHINSON Griffus tyre is entirely dedicated to committed riding disciplines, performing at its best on dry and rocky terrain.

The French brand has chosen the Race Ripost Gravity tri-compound, ensuring both precise handling and braking control thanks to a directional profile and aggressive side knobs. The renowned Hardskin reinforcement provides unmatched resistance against tears, and the 66 TPI casing tackles the most demanding terrain with ease.

Hutchinson's enduro riders, who developed this tyre to suit their needs, recommend fitting a 2.50 at the front paired with a 2.40 at the rear, ensuring cornering stability and pedalling efficiency. DH riders will be fully satisfied by the aggressiveness offered by a 2.50 front and rear setup. Compatible with inner tubes, this big-volume tyre will make the most of its capabilities when mounted Tubeless and slightly underinflated.

Good grip

"Good big tire for sending on dry and rocky terrain, but also on loose dirt/humus, not tested in mud. All-mountain practice in the southern Mediterranean all year round, and a few bike-park sessions in summer."

Good tire with good grip

"Very good grip on dry and slightly loose ground, I just noticed small leaks of preventive on the receptions a little fat (like recep flat on a step of more than a meter"
