Description

The HOPE TECH 4 EVO TR4 brake with aviation hose represents the ultimate evolution of the legendary Tech 4 master cylinder. Entirely machined from a block of 2014 T6 aluminium, it stands out for its high-precision design offering an exceptional feel and perfectly controlled braking power. This top-of-the-range model is aimed at demanding riders seeking performance, reliability and personalisation for all-mountain or Trail riding.

The TECH 4 EVO master cylinder benefits from major improvements: new piston, floating head, optimised cam, second guide ring and three new levers (optional) for precise and fluid control. The lever pivot rests on two annular bearings, ensuring a consistent and durable response. The adjustment dials make it easy to fine-tune the bite point and reach of the lever to suit the rider's preferences.

The TR4 calliper, also machined from a block of 2014 T6 aluminium, adopts the Post-Mount standard (74.2 mm bolt spacing). It features four stainless steel and phenolic resin pistons — two measuring 16 mm and two measuring 17 mm — guaranteeing optimal power distribution and excellent heat resistance. The larger pistons increase the braking ratio by approximately 6.5% compared to the Tech 4 E4 braking system.

The brake comes with two types of pads: Racing (green) for competition and All Conditions (red) for maximum versatility. With its 14 colour combinations, Matchmaker options and exclusive compatibility with DOT 4.0 or 5.0, the HOPE TECH 4 EVO TR4 embodies the pinnacle of high-end braking.
