Description

The POC OTOCON RACE MIPS MTB Helmet is designed to provide lightweight and high-performance full-face protection for enduro or downhill riding. Weighing under 750 g, it combines safety, ventilation and comfort for committed rides. Its construction integrates MIPS® Integra technology, designed to reduce rotational forces upon impact and improve head protection in the event of a fall.

Designed for technical terrain, this helmet features an advanced construction combining a bi-material EPS and EPP liner to balance lightweight, durability and impact absorption. The aramid bridges reinforce the structure and improve resistance to penetrating objects, while the injection-moulded cage increases overall stability. The Race Lock adjustment system provides a precise and secure fit during riding.

The POC OTOCON RACE MIPS MTB Helmet also integrates technologies dedicated to safety and comfort. The twICEme® NFC chip allows medical information to be stored and accessed via smartphone in an emergency, while the RECCO® reflector makes it easier for rescue teams to locate the rider. Internal ventilation channels and removable cheek pads improve airflow and comfort, even on long enduro rides.

Informations techniques

Mips Integra seamlessly and almost invisibly integrates rotational impact protection into the helmet.
Bi-material liner:
The EPP integrated into the lower part of the helmet improves resistance and durability, while an EPS rod keeps the overall weight light.
Injection-moulded liner:
The lower part of the liner features an injection-moulded cage for increased strength and stability.
PC shell:
The outer shell is made from PC offering exceptional durability.
Aramid bridges are moulded onto the helmet liner to reinforce structural stability and improve protection against penetrating objects.
Race Lock:
The integrated Race Lock adjustment system makes it easy to find a comfortable and secure fit.
Breakaway visor:
A patented detachable visor will break away from the helmet in the event of a fall, improving neck protection. The smooth underside is designed to accommodate a GoPro mount.
Highly ventilated:
Ventilation is optimised to channel air through the helmet, providing comfort at both high and low speeds.
Removable cheek pads:
The cheek pads can be easily removed while riding, offering additional ventilation during climbs between enduro race stages.
Removable chin guard:
The chin guard protects the face from mud splashes. It can be removed to allow better airflow in warmer and drier conditions.
NFC medical identification provided by twICEme®.
RECCO® reflector helps rescue services locate you quickly and easily in the event of an emergency.
Certifications EN1078, CPSC1203, AS/NZS2063, ASTM F192, ASTM 2032. All sizes except XS also comply with NTA 8776 for electric bikes.
