The most remarkable feature of the RITCHEY Beacon XL BB handlebar is its Drop Flare very significant, with no less than 36°. In addition to ergonomic comfort and unmatched stability, it also provides plenty of room for bikepacking-style handlebar bags.
On descents, the Beacon doubles comfort with a very low Drop of 80 mm and an equally very short Reach of 65 mm. The Evo-style top section offers a wide hand support in the ovalized zone and a slight rearward angle for a more natural hand position on long climbs to the summit.
Inspired by the world of bikepacking, the Beacon allows easy movement of the hands around the handlebar without ever disrupting bike handling, even when loaded with gear. On tour, shifting hand position on the handlebar lets the body stretch and relax. With the Beacon handlebar, this is done in complete safety.
Ideal for travel and cycle touring, on tarmac or gravel tracks — or even in the city — this unique handlebar brings a whole new level of comfort and control.
