The GARMIN EDGE 1040 GPS is a powerful and intuitive tool designed for ultra-connected cyclists looking to optimise their performance and safety. Featuring a 3.5-inch touchscreen and an aerodynamic design, it integrates the latest navigation and performance measurement technologies. The Garmin Cycle Map preloaded map, with OSM content, offers precise routes and points of interest, while smartphone voice guidance ensures smooth navigation.

The Edge 1040 features an improved user interface and a Trendline function to create routes based on Garmin user data. Battery life reaches 35 hours, extendable to 70 hours in battery-saving mode. Planning and performance management modes help improve fitness, with real-time endurance tracking and advice on nutrition and hydration.

Connected to the Garmin Connect app, the Edge 1040 lets you stay in touch with friends, compare performances and share routes via Strava, Komoot, and TrainingPeaks. It also offers call and SMS notifications, weather alerts, and real-time race tracking.
