Unlike other brands that stick to traditional box-section rim designs, Zipp's engineers took an innovative approach inspired by motorsport. Zipp's single-wall carbon rim technology, Moto, represents the ideal solution for enduro/trail wheels. This rim delivers what the brand calls "ankle compliance". Just as a runner's ankle naturally flexes to maintain grip in corners, the 3ZERO rim can locally deform to remain parallel to the ground, thereby increasing traction. Furthermore, Zipp's ZM1 hub delivers reliable precision performance on the most demanding trails.

This ability to twist locally also allows the rim to deflect upon single-sided impacts without the rider losing control. The 3ZERO MOTO helps riders take the most direct lines, gaining precious seconds where they matter most.
