The ENVE AR40 Front Wheel joins the Foundation range with a design focused on versatility and performance. Its 40 mm carbon rim height and 25 mm internal width offer an excellent balance between aerodynamic efficiency, stability and comfort, both on road and on degraded surfaces.
Aerodynamics is at the heart of the development of the ENVE AR40. Wind-tunnel tested in the Mercedes-Benz Formula One tunnel, it benefits from a realistic approach with real-world testing at various speeds. This method guarantees optimal efficiency and reassuring handling, even in crosswinds.
Designed for tubeless use, it features an optimised HOOKLESS profile for tyres wider than 28 mm. This choice allows for reduced rolling resistance, better comfort and a significant reduction in puncture risk. Pressure can therefore be adjusted to maximise grip and efficiency.
The rim adopts WIDE HOOKLESS BEAD technology, designed to better dissipate impacts and protect against shocks and potholes. The moulded spoke holes, produced using a patented process, reinforce the structure while reducing weight and maintenance.
Finally, the INNERDRIVE™ hub architecture reduces stress on the axle, extends bearing life and guarantees smooth, precise and high-performing power transmission over the long term.
