The EXPOSURE LIGHTS Strada MK12 RS AKTIV front light is designed specifically for road cyclists, delivering 1450 lumens with a beam optimised for tarmac. Thanks to its dedicated lens, it projects a beam combining a spot light to illuminate far ahead and a wide beam for peripheral visibility. This configuration ensures optimal vision for road cycling, while improving safety through enhanced lateral illumination. Additional cooling fins maintain an ideal LED temperature to maximise efficiency and extend battery life. The lateral cutouts further improve visibility up to 240°.

The Strada MK12 RS is equipped with a wired remote control that allows you to quickly adjust the power output when vehicles approach, offering simple and intuitive control of the lighting. DayBright technology ensures exceptional daytime visibility, with a specific light pattern visible from over a kilometre away, guaranteeing you are seen in all conditions. The road-specific beam technology Road-Specific-Beam, inspired by automotive headlights, also allows easy switching between flat beam and spot beam via the handlebar-mounted switch.

The integrated OLED screen provides detailed information on the lighting mode, remaining battery life and battery status. With the Optimised Mode Selector, several lighting programmes are available to suit different ride durations and intensities. Finally, intelligent thermal management protects the LEDs from overheating, ensuring maximum performance throughout your ride.

This model incorporates AKTIV technology, which automatically lowers the beam power when it detects the headlights of an approaching vehicle, then returns to full intensity once the vehicle has passed.

"Pricy, perfect and powerfull. Very solid but still light at 202 gr. (Compared to other lights I used). In program 4, which should be Standard for Fast Road riding, the lower setting is good up to 25 kph and for higher speeds the higher setting (max output) lightens up every pothole for the next 200m even in total darkness. Focussed Spot for the distance and broad light for the First 30m work nicely. If light is too dazzling for upcoming Traffic use active Mode which will dim the light if another light from the front is sensed. Works but other light has to be close (40 m?). Runtimes should be correct, got more than 2 hours out of the highest setting. Solid bar mount with an easy to operate quick release. Charging takes some time but light can‘t be overcharged. Works also upside down (beneath the mount of a head unit) with no difference. Even display switches."
