The DT SWISS freehub body allows a Sram XD drivetrain to be fitted to your DT Swiss hub. You will be able to convert your rear wheel from the Swiss brand and allow it to accept Sram XD 11/12-speed cassettes.

It features Ratchet technology, a patented freehub system with high-precision toothed rings guaranteeing maximum resistance to stress and reliability. Moreover, thanks to the "no tool" concept, it is very simple and quick to maintain.

With every pedal stroke, the teeth of the two rings mesh perfectly at the same time. Unlike the ratchet system where the contact surface of the hubs is relatively small, here each tooth engages with its full surface into the opposing tooth, thus creating significantly lower point loads. The result: the legendary reliability of Ratchet System hubs and the unmistakable sound of their toothed rings!
