The DT SWISS freehub body allows fitting a Shimano 12-speed Microspline standard drivetrain to your DT Swiss hub.
It features Ratchet technology, a patented freehub system with high-precision ratchet rings guaranteeing maximum resistance to stress and reliability. Moreover, thanks to the "no tool" concept, it is very quick and easy to maintain.
With every pedal stroke, the teeth of the two rings mesh perfectly simultaneously. Unlike the pawl system where the contact surface of the hubs is relatively small, here each tooth engages with its full surface against the opposing tooth, creating significantly lower point loads. The result: the legendary reliability of Ratchet System hubs and the unmistakable sound of their ratchet rings!
