Description
Every downhill rider is looking for the perfect suspension, one that adapts to every terrain and speed. While perfection may not exist, the FORMULA Nero R comes close thanks to a design built for instant adaptability. Drawing on Formula’s expertise, this fork combines performance, precision and customisation, allowing every rider to find the ideal set-up in seconds.
At the heart of the Nero R is the 3Air system, a unique technology comprising three independent air chambers: Bronze (negative), Silver (positive) and Gold (end-stroke progression). This system lets you fine-tune the spring curve to perfection, delivering outstanding small-bump sensitivity and firm support on big impacts. Everything can be adjusted without tools, using just a high-pressure pump for quick adjustments on the trail.
On the hydraulic side, the Nero R features a sealed cartridge with independent high- and low-speed compression and rebound adjustments. This design ensures a smooth, stable and controlled response, even on the most demanding descents.
The fork’s structure is based on Formula’s signature Hexagon design, delivering a perfect balance of stiffness and flexibility. This design reduces rider fatigue while providing pinpoint precision through corners and under braking.
Finally, the Nero R features the FIRM system, a 20 mm thru-axle with a locking ring, combined with IFT (Internal Floating Technology) to reduce internal friction. The result: a downhill fork that is responsive, customisable and incredibly smooth, ready to tackle any terrain, from bike parks to the steepest slopes.
