The Fizik Transiro Aeris Short Distance R1 is a high-end saddle specifically designed for short-distance triathlon (S/M format) and time trials. It is designed to provide maximum support and perfect stability for athletes adopting a forward-leaning aerodynamic position.
Equipped with 7x9mm oval carbon rails and a carbon-reinforced nylon shell, the R1 version prioritises lightness and stiffness. Its profile incorporates a progressive central relief channel and reworked Type 1 Foam padding — thicker at the saddle nose and firmer at the rear — ensuring optimal relief for sensitive areas and maximum power transfer.
