The FINISH LINE lubricant HALO™ Wax is a next-generation wax-based lubricant, designed to offer the benefits of a waxed chain without the constraints of hot-wax immersion. Should the chain be degreased before first use? Yes, it is essential. For the wax to adhere to the metal, the chain must be completely free of factory oil or grease. Use a powerful degreaser before the very first application.

Can it be used in wet weather? HALO™ Wax performs well in humid conditions, but like all waxes, it wears off faster than a "Wet" oil in heavy rain. It is recommended to dry the chain thoroughly and reapply the product after a very wet ride.

How often should it be reapplied? In dry conditions, one application can last between 200 and 300 km. As soon as the chain starts to become slightly noisier, it is time to apply another coat.

Is it compatible with the "Hot Wax" (immersion) version? Absolutely. HALO™ liquid Wax is the ideal complement to maintain and extend the treatment of a chain initially hot-waxed.
