The Professional Chain Tool Feedback Sports Chain Tool 3.0 is a professional-quality chain tool designed for workshop and travel use alike. This third generation has been completely redesigned to meet the extremely tight tolerances of modern high-speed drivetrains, while retaining the robustness required for single-speed track or BMX bike chains (singlespeed).

Featuring a die-cast steel body and an ultra-resistant CNC tool steel extractor pin, it allows chain pins to be pushed out and riveted back in with remarkable ease and precision. Its large overmoulded ergonomic handle provides excellent leverage and a firm grip, minimising the effort required. It also integrates an adjustable dial-controlled rear guide system to keep the chain perfectly perpendicular to the pin during extraction, thus preventing link damage.

Is it compatible with the new SRAM T-Type (Flattop) chains and 13-speed chains? Yes, the slimness of the pin and the adjustable rear locking system of this version 3.0 allow it to handle SRAM Flattop-specific chains (Road and MTB T-Type Transmission) without any issues. Its geometric precision also makes it compatible with most ultra-narrow 13-speed chains on the market.

How do you access the spare extractor pin? Feedback Sports has integrated a clever storage compartment. Simply unscrew the end cap located at the bottom of the rubber handle to find the spare pin, ready to be screwed into place should the original become worn or bent after mishandling.

What should I do if the extractor pin meets strong resistance? Never force it excessively. If the pin is very hard to push, this generally means the chain is not perfectly aligned in the tool's cradles. Slightly loosen the lever, adjust the rear guide wheel to re-centre the link in relation to the extractor pin, then resume tightening. A small amount of lubricant on the pin's thread also ensures a very smooth movement.
