ERGON SM E-Mountain Sport M/L Women's E-Bike Saddle CrMo Rails

The ERGON SM E-Mountain Sport saddle for women is a comfortable model offered by the German brand, suitable for e-MTB trail riding. It is offered here in size M/L, suitable for riders whose sit bone width ranges from 12 to 16 cm.

The ergonomics engineers at the German brand took into account the feedback frequently expressed by female mountain bikers, to design a saddle adapted to their anatomy and the typical position used on an electric bike.

To reduce pressure on the genital area, which is the primary cause of discomfort on a bike for women, this saddle is widely open at the centre to relieve the most sensitive areas. The fairly wide nose describes a large V shape from the rear of the saddle, providing a wide support area around this opening. It is also more raised at the rear for great stability on climbs.

This saddle stands out with its central decompression channel, hollowed out and perforated to maximally relieve the perineal area by transferring load onto the sit bones and pubic arch. Above all, it uses soft and comfortable orthopaedic foam padding complemented by OrthoCell® inserts to reduce vibrations. 

In this Sport version, the SM saddle is built around a nylon shell mounted on sturdy chromoly rails. It is also covered with a microfibre coating.
