Is this jacket completely waterproof? No, it is a windproof jacket with a water-repellent treatment. It will protect you from light drizzle or spray, but it is not designed to keep you dry in prolonged heavy rain. Its advantage is that it is much more breathable and compact than a conventional rain jacket.

Is the fit very tight (Race Fit)? The fit is "Relaxed" yet close-fitting. It is designed to be worn over a jersey or a light thermal layer without excessively flapping in the wind.

How should the water-repellent treatment be maintained? After several washes, water may stop beading on the fabric. We recommend occasionally using a reproofing product (such as Nikwax), either as a spray or in the washing machine, to reactivate the DWR protection.
