E.THIRTEEN SIDEKICK PRO Rear Hub is aimed at trail, all-mountain, enduro and E-MTB riders seeking smoother and quieter performance on demanding terrain. Thanks to the Sidekick 2.0 Anti-Kickback technology, the hub decouples the drivetrain from the suspension during freewheeling phases in order to limit pedal kickback and improve the bike's sensitivity in technical sections.

The system integrates a magnetic retractable pawl mechanism offering near-silent operation and a significant reduction in freewheeling friction. The tool-free adjustable deadband setting allows you to choose between 9°, 13° or 18° depending on the terrain and the level of responsiveness desired. A low value promotes re-engagement and dynamic pedalling, while a wider angle optimises comfort and suspension freedom on descents.

The E.THIRTEEN SIDEKICK PRO Rear Hub benefits from premium internal components with EZO bearings at the driver and TPX bearings in the hub shell. The nickel-plated steel pawls and plungers improve durability and reduce friction over the long term. Its 17 mm aluminium axle ensures stiffness and reliability for intensive use.

Compatible with XD and Microspline freehub bodies, this rear hub is available in Boost 148 mm and Superboost 157 mm versions. Its fully serviceable design, combined with e-bike compatibility and a long-term warranty, makes it a high-performance solution for modern MTB builds.
