The Ratchet DEG is designed to reduce the engagement angle, a crucial parameter for acceleration out of corners. It uses a principle similar to that of the classic Ratchet system, but each component benefits from an optimised size to allow the use of larger ratchet rings.

Furthermore, the unique rim finishing process of the PURE CARBON does not use any varnish, which further reduces the weight of the wheel while offering a sophisticated and refined design. The Hookless rim describes the shape of the rim edge, which in this case is straight, without the classic hook. This design has the advantage of increasing the impact resistance of carbon rim edges and allows inflation pressures of up to 5 bar.
