Description
The Rennen 4-bolt non-threaded decimal chainring addresses a well-known issue among BMX Race riders: going from one tooth count to the next changes the rollout by a full step, which is often too much for fine-tuning. Rennen Design Group has therefore developed intermediate tooth counts that allow riders to fine-tune their gearing by half-steps.
This is the most extensive range in the line-up, with ten decimal tooth counts from 41.2 to 50.2. It covers two distinct setups: from 41.2 to 44.7 for standard 20-inch gearings, and from 48.8 to 50.2 for Cruiser setups running big gears. A rider who finds 42T too easy and 43T too hard now has intermediate options — a critical adjustment at the start gate, where everything is decided in the first few pedal strokes.
The construction features Rennen's signature know-how: 7075-T6 aluminium CNC machined in the USA (rated 83% stronger than 6061), a thickness of 3/16" (approx. 4.8 mm), a weight of 79 g in 38T, and a dedicated single speed tooth profile engineered to extend tooth life. Non-threaded bolt holes: ensure you have a suitable chainring bolt and nut set.
