The MAVIC COMETE ROAD Tubeless Ready disc wheel (Center Lock) is an all-carbon solid-disc rear wheel designed for pure speed, thanks to a unique combination of aerodynamics, low weight and rolling efficiency. Its profile has been optimised through numerous iterations and tests, including wind-tunnel testing in Geneva, for a wheel that responds to every acceleration and remains stable at high speed.
It features a 23 mm Aero Wide rim optimised for 28 mm tyres, offering the best balance of aerodynamics and rolling efficiency. The wave-shaped carbon side panels guide airflow while providing the stiffness needed for acceleration and control through corners. The Adaptive Layup construction, combining T700, T1000 and 3K fibres, balances stiffness and dynamic performance, while Mavic Ceramic bearings reduce friction for maximum smoothness.
The Instant Drive 360 freehub features a 40-tooth ratchet (9°) and is available in Shimano HG or SRAM XDR versions, while UST Tubeless technology improves grip, control and comfort while reducing punctures. Designed for the road, this wheel weighs just 965 g.
