"The chain isn't reliable. It broke after 50 km."

"A top-notch chain in terms of both strength and durability—and a plus for its quiet operation and ease of removal. Well done!"

That's really sad

"As a regular user of KMC chains and very satisfied with the X11 EL Sylver, I bought this X11 EPT by default (the EL was out of stock) to go with a new cassette. After 700 km, I decided to exchange it for an EL I bought from another site. It’s very stiff, very noisy, and feels heavy, even though the gears shift. Even with plenty of lubricant, after 30 km it’s back to the same problem. It got to the point where I checked my drivetrain (Ultegra) for a problem, but couldn’t find anything despite taking it apart and putting it back together several times. The issues went away after I replaced this chain. I regret my purchase and do not recommend this chain."

Correct

"I use it as the second chain on an Ultegra cassette, and it's pretty noisy. That said, shifting is fine and the chain doesn't skip. We'll see how it holds up over time."
