Description

The HOPE RX4+ SL Flat Mount 34mm Mineral hydraulic brake calliper was designed by the British brand to be paired with a Shimano/Campagnolo road brake lever. It is intended for Front Flat Mount 34 mm fitting with a 160 or 180mm disc (with adapter) or Front Flat Mount 70mm with a 140, 160 or 180mm disc with adapters. It can also be fitted as Rear Flat Mount 34mm with a 140mm or 160mm disc (with adapter) and depending on the rear offset with a 180mm disc. It is designed to equip a classic road bike or a cyclocross bike.

Thanks to its 4-piston system, it provides powerful and reliable braking. This calliper features a rigid monoblock construction that transmits braking force very efficiently, with no poor feedback at the lever. 

The RX4+ SL (2026) features a narrower bore cap, inspired by the GR4 and TR4 models, reducing the width of the calliper and improving compatibility with more frames. It also integrates the bleed nipple from the RX2, making bleeding simpler and cleaner. These targeted improvements make the RX4+ SL more user-friendly, while retaining the performance and reliability expected from RX4+ brakes.
