ASSOS ENDURANCE S11 Edge Green Socks

The Assos Endurance Socks S11 have been specially developed to meet the demands of long-distance rides, gran fondos and long gravel adventures. While the Racing range focuses entirely on pure aerodynamics, this model prioritises uncompromising comfort and excellent foot stabilisation inside the shoe over long hours in the saddle.

The upper features a stretch technical mesh structure that delivers soft, continuous compression, promoting venous return and reducing muscle fatigue. Across the instep, an ultra-breathable mesh weave accelerates moisture evacuation and actively cools the foot in warm conditions. The heel and toe are knitted with reinforced yarns to subtly cushion pressure points and eliminate friction hotspots that cause blisters.

What is the main difference between this Endurance S11 model and the Racing S11 model? The Racing S11 model features an upper made from textured fabric specifically designed to smooth airflow and optimise aerodynamics in competition. The Endurance S11 model focuses on long-term thermal and mechanical comfort: its knit is designed to provide excellent arch support and continuous moisture wicking on rides lasting several hours.

Do these socks grip the ankle tightly? They provide a clearly present compressive hold, but it is ergonomically designed to never cut off circulation or create a tourniquet effect at the calf. This slight compression is essential to prevent the sock from slipping during pedalling and to help reduce foot fatigue.

How should these socks be washed to preserve their elasticity? Machine wash at 30°C using a delicate textile programme and ideally a laundry bag. Do not use fabric softener, as it damages the breathable and elastic properties of the technical fibres. Air dry (no tumble dryer).
