TOPEAK AIRBOOSTER II CO2 Inflator + Threaded CO2 Cartridge 16 g (x1)

The TOPEAK inflator AirBooster II is a compact and incredibly intuitive CO2 inflator, precision-machined from CNC aluminium. Its distinctive feature is its double-ended head: one end to puncture and store the cartridge, the other for immediate inflation.

Thanks to its pressure-controlled system, you have complete control over the airflow. The harder you press on the valve, the faster the gas is released. It is the perfect tool for cyclists (Road, MTB or Gravel) who want an ultra-lightweight emergency solution capable of inflating a tyre in under 3 seconds without the bulk of a hand pump.

What is the difference from the Nano model? The AirBooster II is slightly larger, which provides a better grip during inflation, especially with gloves. Its "L"-shaped design also allows you to better position your hand away from the valve.

How many tyres can be inflated with a 16g cartridge? A 16g cartridge inflates a road tyre (700x25c) to approximately 6–8 bar, or an MTB tyre (29x2.1) to approximately 2 bar. For wide or Plus MTB tyres, a 25g cartridge is recommended.

Does CO2 stay in the tyre for long? No. CO2 molecules are smaller than air molecules and pass through rubber (or sealant) more quickly. After using CO2 to get home, deflate your tyre and re-inflate it with a standard air pump the following day.
