Description

The SHIMANO GRX RX827 12V SGS rear derailleur is specially designed for modern gravel riding, where versatility and reliability are essential. Paired with a 10-51 tooth cassette, it offers an extended gear range, ideal for tackling both long climbs and fast descents. Thanks to its robust construction and fully wireless transmission, it guarantees fast, precise and smooth gear changes, even on the most demanding terrain.

Built to withstand tough conditions, the RX827 features a wide-link structure, a reinforced aluminium cage, sturdy jockey wheels and a design with a skid-plate. These elements ensure maximum durability whilst effectively protecting the derailleur against impacts and deformation caused by rough trails.

One of the major innovations is the Automatic Impact Recovery function, which automatically returns the derailleur to its initial position after an impact. Combined with SHIMANO SHADOW ES technology, an enhanced evolution of the SHADOW RD+ chain stabilisation system, it improves chain reliability and tension for quieter and more stable pedalling.

Finally, the battery is integrated into a protected compartment, preventing any movement even on rough terrain. Easy to remove for recharging, it contributes to an efficient, robust system perfectly suited to the demands of modern gravel riding.
