What's new on the V2? 

The V2 is not merely a cosmetic update — it has been completely rethought for the new MTB standards:

Increased Stiffness: The V2 body has been widened and reinforced to pair perfectly with modern large-stanchion forks (38 mm). It delivers more stable steering in the roughest sections.

New Geometry: The angle changes from +/- 6° on the classic version to +/- 5° on the V2, offering more precise height adjustment for current frame geometries.

Optimised Machining: Thanks to even more complex CNC work, the V2 gains in robustness without adding a single gramme, featuring a cleaner finish and even more refined edges.

Why choose the V2 if I already have the previous version? If you ride a recent bike with a stiff fork (such as a Fox 38 or RockShox Zeb) or an e-MTB (E-Bike), the superior lateral stiffness of the V2 will provide significantly better handling in fast corners and loose, unpredictable terrain.

Is it compatible with all lengths from the previous version? Yes, Renthal offers the V2 in a wide range of lengths so that every rider can maintain their usual position whilst benefiting from the structural improvements.

Does the fitting process remain the same? Absolutely. You still slide the clamps over the narrow ends of the handlebar and observe the "Zero Gap" torque on the bottom bolts before adjusting the torque on the top bolts.
