REDSHIFT SHOCKSTOP 1"1/4 +/-6° Suspension Stem

The REDSHIFT SHOCKSTOP 1"1/4 +6/-6° is a suspension stem designed to improve comfort and control on road, gravel, bikepacking or e-bike. Its integrated suspension system effectively absorbs vibrations and impacts while maintaining a clean design that integrates naturally with modern bikes. Its effective travel of up to 20 mm helps reduce cyclist fatigue during long rides.

The operation is based on a system of 5 interchangeable elastomers, allowing precise adjustment of the suspension according to the rider's weight and riding preferences. This customisation optimises comfort without compromising steering precision. The 1"1/4 version is designed for oversized 31.8 mm steerers, while the +6/-6° angle allows easy adjustment of the riding position by simply flipping the stem.

Made from 6061-T6 aluminium, the ShockStop offers an excellent balance between stiffness, reliability and durability. Compatible with 31.8 mm handlebars, it supports a maximum rider weight of 135 kg and meets the ASTM F2043 Class 2 standard for road and trail use. Supplied with all necessary mounting hardware, it provides a high-performance solution for improving comfort without altering the bike's geometry.

Does the stem feel like it sinks when pedalling? No. By choosing the right combination of elastomers for your weight, the stem remains neutral in normal position and only compresses when hitting a bump or rough surface.

Is it difficult to change the elastomers? No, the operation takes a few minutes. Simply open the front cap of the stem, remove the handlebar and insert the desired elastomer combination.

Can a computer or light mount be installed on this stem? Yes, Redshift offers specific integrated mounts (ShockStop Computer Mount) that attach directly to the stem cap.
