REDSHIFT Extra-Long Handlebar Tape Grey

The REDSHIFT Extra-Long Handlebar Tape is specially designed to fit the widest handlebars, particularly for gravel and adventure riding. With a length of 315 cm, it allows a complete wrap where standard tape falls short. Its anti-vibration padding improves comfort on long rides while reducing hand fatigue.

Its construction combines closed-cell foam with a specially formulated polyurethane (PU) outer coating. This combination ensures excellent wear resistance and lasting grip, even when conditions become wet. Its self-adhesive backing allows for a clean and quick installation.

Compatible with all drop road handlebars, this 30 mm wide and 3 mm thick tape is ideal for setups requiring a great length of wrap. It is a high-performance solution for optimising comfort, grip and the finish of the most demanding cockpits.

Is this tape essential if I install the Redshift Cruise Control ergonomic grips? It is highly recommended. As ergonomic grips increase the circumference of the handlebar, a standard tape is often too short to wrap all the way around. The Really Long version guarantees a perfect overlap along the entire length.

Can it be repositioned easily during fitting? Yes, the adhesive strip on the back is designed to allow minor adjustments during installation without tearing the foam or leaving sticky residue on the handlebar.

Is it suitable for use without gloves? Absolutely. The synthetic feel provides a soft contact without being sticky, while maintaining a secure grip even with sweaty hands.
