REDSHIFT Dual-Position Seatpost Black

The REDSHIFT Dual-Position Seatpost allows you to quickly switch from a road position to an aerodynamic position on a standard road bike. Its patented Dual-Position Quick Adjust mechanism moves the saddle 50 mm forward to adopt a posture better suited to long fast sections or time trial events, without altering the bike's usual setup.

Thanks to its articulated linkage system, changing position is easy while riding. This design maintains consistent leg extension in both configurations and delivers a modified effective seat tube angle of approximately 3 to 4 degrees. The road position is thus preserved for climbs and descents, while the forward position encourages a more aerodynamic posture on flat sections.

Made from 6061-T6 aluminium with 7075-T6 aluminium linkages and carriages, this seatpost prioritises stiffness, reliability and durability. Its dual-bolt carriage allows precise saddle tilt adjustment and ensures secure retention of the rails during intensive rides.

Compatible with saddles fitted with 7 mm round rails, the REDSHIFT Dual-Position Seatpost is a practical solution for transforming a road bike into a versatile machine, capable of efficiently alternating between comfort, efficiency and aerodynamic performance without changing bikes.

Is there any risk of the saddle accidentally tipping while riding? No. The mechanism incorporates a very firm mechanical lock. To change position, simply relieve a little body weight and push or pull the saddle.

Can it be fitted on a frame with a 30.9 mm or 31.6 mm seat tube?Yes, the seatpost is the standard diameter of 27.2 mm. Simply use a dedicated seatpost shim (Redshift Seatpost Shim) to fit it on wider frames.

Is it compatible with handlebar extensions? That is its ideal pairing! Used in conjunction with the Redshift Quick-Release Aerobars, it allows a standard road bike to be transformed into a true triathlon bike in a matter of seconds.
