SRAM RED 1 DUB DM Mono 12-Speed Crankset

The true heart of the drivetrain, the SRAM Red 1 DUB DM Mono 46 12-speed crankset is intended for demanding cyclists in search of the highest-performing equipment. 

Just like the double chainring version, it features hollowed carbon cranks for greater lightness and an oversized aluminium axle providing improved stiffness. It uses a 4-arm spider geometry, two of which are lightened with cut-outs to further reduce the weight of the crankset. 

Paired with an X-range cassette starting at a 10-tooth sprocket, the crankset guarantees a wide gear range, while offering the aerodynamics and simplicity of a single chainring drivetrain. At the same time, a progressive spacing (only 1 tooth) can be found on the most frequently used sprockets. 

This versatility allows it to fit road bikes, cyclo-cross bikes, gravel bikes and touring bikes alike. And if you wish to install a double chainring drivetrain later on, note that the Mono crankset can be converted using the same cranks.

The SRAM Red 1 is used with the Sram Dub bottom bracket. This standard has the advantage of fitting virtually all frames thanks to its universal system, saving you from having to change your crankset at the same time as your bike. 

On this DM version, the chainring is fixed directly to the frame via Direct Mount, which has the advantages of being more reliable, offering better precision and preserving the aesthetic appearance of the frame.
