The MICROSHIFT ADVENT MX 10-Speed Cassette CS-EH106 is the reference cassette for the microSHIFT Sword 10-speed groupset. Designed to meet the demands of modern Gravel riding and bikepacking, it prioritises total reliability. Unlike hybrid versions, this model is made entirely from high-strength steel.
It is the all-terrain cassette par excellence: it offers a massive gear range of 11-48 teeth, ideal for tackling the steepest climbs with a loaded bike, while guaranteeing maximum longevity against abrasion from dust and mud.
What is the difference from the CS-EG106 version? The EG version has an aluminium spider and weighs around 150 g less. The EH version (this one) is made entirely of steel. It is slightly heavier but far more resistant to wear in the long term.
Is it compatible with Advent X shifters? Absolutely. microSHIFT's 10-speed systems (Sword, Advent X and Advent MX) share the same cable pull and are fully compatible with one another.
Why choose the Nickel finish over the ED Black finish? The Nickel treatment is smoother. It reduces friction and, unlike the black coating which fades with chain wear, the Nickel finish retains its bright, clean appearance for much longer.
