The Forekaster is aimed at the "downcountry" segment, for short-travel trail bikes (100–130 mm). This MAXXIS Forekaster 29x2.40 Exo MaxxTerra Tubeless Ready tyre rolls fast while providing good cornering and braking traction across a wide range of terrain.
Its MaxxTerra compound balances grip and rolling efficiency, while the EXO reinforcement protects the sidewalls against cuts. Its closely spaced centre tread and tall side knobs provide precise handling in all conditions.
Tubeless Ready and in Wide Trail format, it sits between the Rekon and the Minion in terms of aggressiveness.
The latest MaxxTerra version offers around 30% greater durability and 15% better traction than previous generations, meaning slower wear and better grip on mixed or dry terrain.
